Printables For Your Soul

I don’t know about you but sometimes I need visuals when I am having a rough day to remind me that I am loved despite my flaws. I like to keep them on my desk, in the bedroom, I have a huge one on my living room wall, and I have a couple scattered through-out the kitchen (to help me with thinking happy thoughts while cooking, ICK). There’s just something powerful in seeing bible verses embedded all over my home.

When I begin to have a bad thought and look up while doing the dishes to see the verse “whatever is true, whatever is right, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things {Philippians 4:8}” I am reminded that the thought I am having is NOT of God. I believe God does not put bad ideas and thoughts into my mind, I am reminded to cast out that thought as quickly as it crept into my mind.

Plus, it’s a great idea to have bible verses and inspirational Christian quotes roaming around the home so that your Children will learn them. It doesn’t happen over night, but after sitting on the toilet in front of the same bible verse for ten years our children (and ourselves) are bound to learn it!

My mom does not go crazy over decorating (like myself) and when she did it was a monumental experience because that object would have a secure place in our home for 15 straight years. It would be in the same spot for so long that the wall around it would bleached from the sun and the wall behind it stayed the same color!

I remember two quotes my mom had on the wall for YEARS. The first was cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow, for babies grow up, we learned to our sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs; dust go to sleep, I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep which hung in the baby nursery until the youngest baby was definitely not a baby anymore. The second wasA house is built with boards and beams, a home is built with love and dreams which was above the light switch to our dinning room since as long as I can remember.

The reason I mention these two quotes specifically is because they were placed within eyesight in areas that I spent a lot of my time in. These two quotes are very cute and have significant truth but just think, if they had been bible verses I would have had two memorized inside and out just because they were in eye sight every. single. day!

So I applied this thinking to my home.

Below are four printables that I made relating to my days as a homemaker, if you find they relate to you as well please click the picture and PRINT! That’s it.

What bible verse do you currently have hanging on your wall for inspiration? Please leave a comment below!
